First Aid Courses

Are you looking to protect the welfare of your staff, provide a duty of care to your customers, and ensure that you have all the correct health and safety requirements by law?

It is important to be aware that the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) no longer approves training and qualifications for the purposes of First Aid at Work.

Training organisations can no longer claim to be "HSE Approved" even those who were formerly approved to deliver First Aid at Work. It is always important to check the credentials of your training provider and we proudly show ours since they are nationally recognised.

Not sure where to start?
We can help you with a face-to-face or video call consultation to establish your training requirements – e.g. to advise on how many workplace First Aiders you required, and the level to which they need to be trained – just get in touch to speak to our team.

Alternatively, you can take our free online First Aid Requirements Calculator, accredited by QualSafe.

All you have to do is put in a few details about your workplace and the calculator will create a bespoke, printable report that breaks down your First Aid requirements.

Have you considered an annual skills update course?

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) advises that First Aiders should do an annual 3-hour skills update. Although not mandatory, a skills update course helps you maintain basic First Aid training and keep up to date with any changes in procedures.

According to the American Red Cross Scientific Advisory Council, skill retention declines a few months after training with a European Resuscitation Council (ERC) study even suggesting that confidence to administer First Aid in a real emergency is lost within 3 months.

Keep your skills and confidence strong with an annual skills update course.

Food Safety & Personal Licensing

Food hygiene and personal licensing are essential for any food and beverage business. Taught by our specialist course leader, our courses will ensure that your staff is efficiently trained to a high standard to meet your legal requirements and due diligence.

These qualifications give employees a confidence boost as putting them through this training gives them certainty and high standards in their work whilst also making them feel valued by being upskilled. Creating long-term stability and confidence within your business builds a supportive, positive and safe environment to work not only for your staff but for yourself as a business owner and in turn, your customers.
